It amazes me that we even have to argue this point. Over half a million Americans have no say in our federal government other than to elect a president. DC has a population nearly the size of about four other states that not only get house representation but also 2 senators. And the fact Bush opposes is such a reflection on his character. Stands up there spouting the wonders of Democracy while disenfranchising 600,000 Americans from a right we fought to give the Iraqi people. We all know the only reason he and most Republicans oppose it is because that's a free seat for the Democrats. Hence this bill that would give Utah another seat so we stay even steven since that is clearly going to be a republican seat.
I'm a twenty-something gay male, born on the west coast but transplanted to the east. I have an affinity for cheap vodka and happy hours, house music and dancing, and hanging out with the mean girls. I've got a witty and sarcastic sense of humor, and as Tos so wonderfully put it, "The only boy I know who was Premier Exec in college and makes a trip to Germany like anyone else makes a trip to the store..."
