My theory is that they a running drugs. Why else would the bus stop at 1st and New York Avenue. Where someone opens the luggage hold, takes something out. puts something in, talks to the driver for a minute, and the leaves.

Shit! I wish I read your blog last week! I was in Boston too - though in Medford where I am from and I was busy with chores the whole time for mama...
But the bus is so cheap - hatefully so. I despise buses and endured it when I went to NYC 2 weeks ago. But what other options are there?
Train? Nope - costs the same as flying and why train when you can fly and get miles?
Plane? Sometimes - of course we are going up again this weekend and flights are like $230 on UAL (even with those stupid 15% off e-certs) I am praying for a last minute e-saver (right) or some add'l award seats back (yes I will spend 30k for me an the boo to not have to take that awful bus!) but the return flights have no avails...
We may end up driving - which is better than the bus but the whole point is not sitting on 95 on sunday coming back. I may just suck it up and fly - it's the boo's bday weekend and I want it to be special...
